Our '58 Impala was restored by my wife's brother in Florida about 15 years ago. The workmanship and materials were first class and the results were excellent. However, after 15 years of shows, things are starting to show some soiling. What have you folks used for cleaning seats and carpets and what would you recommend?
Thanks for any suggestions!

    In response to mahlmann

In general, the same products and methods used for the household work well on a car's cloth upholstery, vinyl, and carpets.

Stains? Again nothing special.

Care needs to be taken when using 'stronger' products. Don't leave them in contact with the material any longer than necessary. Rinse with water.

Use a shop vac to suck up 'dirty' upholstery/carpet cleaner 'suds', and any rinse water.
