My dream is to, one day, swap out the frame for a Roadster Shop Chasis , running an LS motor. Reading their specs it says you'd have to cut out the trans tunnel for the newer trans as well.

My question is for anyone who's LS swapped their Tri-Five, (using the stock frame) what tranny are you running, what mods did you have to do to the body, if any?

4L60E and its variants fit the tunnel. So does 4L80E. 6L90E does not fit. T56 and its variants don't fit. Most other manual transmissions do fit.

The mods to make those that don't fit are not that hard to do.
