Started my 50 hardtop the other day day and noticed coolant leaking down the floorboard behind the heater. I just replaced the heater blower with a 12 volt.Turned the heater on and noticed the leaking .It’s original to the car and has a Harrison sticker on it.Can you still buy the valve or do you guys suggest getting it rebuilt? What say the experts?

Began driving in these old cars...Proud to be back in"100% GOOD OLE AMERICAN STEEL"

I've rebuilt a few of them myself. If you're inclined and adventurous, the replacement RANCO valve is available at NAPA. Bottom photo is the valve I rebuilt for my truck. In either instance (car or truck) the hardest part is bending the tangs that hold the valve to the mounting plate. I used a wood chisel to get under them and lift them. Car units are usually marked as HB or HN.
