Tracking down a blinker issue and found this splice/fuse tap to a ignition fuse. Runs up to a relay on the firewall. White wire grounds there. Then following from relay it runs under the truck along driver side frame rail. Just under driver seat it runs into the main harness.
I assumed it was aftermarket since I bought truck used... but then it went into that main harness clean and nice. Doesn’t look like a splice job at all.
I don’t seem to have any extras on the truck light lights etc but could have been taken off.
Is this factory repair/ recall for something? Anyone else have this or know what’s going on?
2015 duramax slt 4x4...Canadian if that matters.

Hmm. That looks like a repair harness was installed. For what component?
As for the original OP.
I wonder if it has/had led lights.
