went to the site of the sponsor of this section and they don't have OEM harness for the 1987 GMC truck/van

anyone know who would? would need the engine harness and the cab fuse box the previous owner did not seal the window leak and it drips directly on the fuse box. So everything is either rusted or marginally working. the seat belt/ headlight warning one is toast, rusted completely through. contacts on the fuse box for it are completely gone.

The current harness is 33 years old. Which means signals are sporadic or lower voltage than they should be?

Some of the harness wire that I had pealed back at the pigtails I had to replace is showing mild to significant corrosion.

And the pig tails are getting hard to come by by themselves.

when asking Questions its related to van I own: 1987 GMC 3/4 ton G2500 vandura, V6, No AC, standard length. 3speed trans(no overdrive).

Sorry, but no one is making these. We just don't have enough requests to look at these. You're only solutions are being lucky enough to stumble onto an NOS one or a good used one. It must be from exactly the same year, model and options too. Gonna be difficult. Sorry to be the barer of bad news.
