Rule 1.)

The ChevyTalk Message Forum has a zero tolerance policy on threats, threatening language, or anything that another user or a moderator deems to be a threat, period! Your account may be deleted at once.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use Chevytalk.Com to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, (hateful is defined as posts motivated by hostility to the victim as a member of a group (as one based on color, creed, religion, gender, or sexual orientation), harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.

Personal attacks against members are not acceptable and may result in post deletion, locked threads and or banning from the site.

Rule 2.)

Please note : POLITICAL POSTS AND CONTENT are not permitted in any forum on the site ( Jokes Forum included). Hateful posts directed towards any religious group or sexual orientation are not permitted either and may be deleted without question.

Rule 3. )

Only "site sponsors" may use business names as their screen names. Only "sponsors" can include a URL or reference to their business in their signature file. (Sponsors can be determined by the inclusion of a small Super Man icon next to their name) Please note that chain letters,pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on ChevyTalk.Com. Please use our classified ads forums to post non-commercial advertisements only. Commercial advertisements placed directly into the forums will be deleted with "no questions asked".

Rule 4. )
We reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. From time to time we may consolidate threads by deleting overly redundant threads or posts. We strive not to change the tone or content of the original post.

Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board, it is impossible for us to review every messages or confirm the validity of information posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact a moderator or staff member immediately by email or private message. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or is in the public domain. Although ChevyTalk.Com cannot review all messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChevyTalk.Com and its representatives or agent(s). ChevyTalk.Com also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a member complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

Nothing posted on the site should be considered private. We only store information that you provide in your profile. If you do not feel comfortable with any of this information or private communications, do not place it on our servers. Member agrees that ChevyTalk is not considered a “secure communications medium” and that no expectation of privacy is afforded. For secure communications please consider using email or the telephone. Consider placing an email address in your profile so members can reach you outside of the site. All of your information is backed up as part of our nightly procedure. This information is stored in a variety of places and we can not guarantee its safeguarding.

Rule 5. ) Member signature files (non-sponsor) are allowed but should not exceed 250 characters. They will not contain any graphics or "references to any businesses". ChevyTalk reserves the right to remove any usernames that are decided to not align with our family friendly site. In most cases will contact the user and request a name change prior to removal.

Some members of ChevyTalk have a Moderator tag under their usernames. This does not imply that they are representatives or employees of ChevyTalk. They are simply members who have shown a propensity to want to help others. Their actions do not represent the intentions of ChevyTalk and merely themselves acting on a volunteer basis.

When asked to conform to any item in the agreement you have entered with us, we will do all that is possible to rectify the issue without corrective action. In the event the user does not acknowledge such agreement and request and continues to act outside the bouandry of the community rules we will have no choice but to remove them from the community.

When you enter the above agreement you acknowledge that all of the above rules are strictly enforced by the ChevyTalk Admin Staff.

Rule 6.) “All user generated content, posts, and discussions, contained on ChevyTalk.com are the intellectual property of ChevyTalk.com. ChevyTalk.com reserves the right to overwrite or replace any affiliate, commercial, or monetizable links, posted by users of ChevyTalk.com, with our own internal tracking.”
