In response to Keroppi
No, I have a SB Chevy 307, factory HO52 Eaton rear end with 4.57 gearing. No driveshaft yet. I’ve spent hours gleaning, sorting thru information and believe only a 4.10 differential will work to allow me to keep the original axel housing. No Eaton axel was ever made with 4.11 gearing. No companies make an after market 4.11 ring and pinion. Apparently certain C-20, K-20 and C-30 Chevy truck models from 1968-1972 with Eaton HO52 rear ends and 4.10 gears will allow for a direct differential carrier swap out. Oh, 3.90 gears are too tall for my housing also. Does anyone concur or disagree with this info?
