Vintage Air says that the 174058 Front Runner system was designed to fit over an OE timing cover on a BBC. I don't know how much more space there is though? I have a Cloyes cast Aluminum 9-231. Has anyone tried to install the 174058 Front Runner over the Cloyes Timing Cover? Even if you have installed the 174058 over an OE timing cover, what is your impression of it? Thanks.
