    In response to Mel Foye

Thanks Mel for your response. Since I posted this I went ahead and ordered a KKS Motor Sports model RADS 281 radiator. It has a ribbed tank which looks more stock than most squared off Aluminum radiators you see. It bolted right on to the stock fan shroud on the El Camino, which is the same as Chevelle. I'm very happy with the almost stock appearance plus the easy bolt in. Now if it just cools I'll be even happier. May'be this will help someone else, it wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Wish me luck!
The S.O.B. from the factory...
71 1/2 ton, 64 Chevelle SS, 57 2dr Hardtop, 57 2dr Sedan, 57 Corvette, 52 2dr Hardtop, 52 2dr Sedan, and now a 49 Plymouth Coupe, 1930 Model "A", 1934 Ford Truck, all Chevy powered of course.
