Check your ground wire from the battery. We had a Tahoe at the shop that did something similar and it was corrosion under the ground cable that went to the block.
The block? I've tried tracing the ground back and I lost it at the rear of the oil pan, passenger side. Or I'm looking at something else. I've got the "this can't be right" feeling, so I came in to check.
