I working on 1948 Convertible. The canvass was removed from my top frame so i am "learning as I go" regarding, pieces, and install on this convertible top. I am installing an original metal, (split-frame inner and outer) backglass frame but do not know if there was originally a gasket or how the frame seals to the canvass. I am looking for anyone that has experience, wisdom, knowledge about this backglass install and more specifically, sealing it up. Pics might help if you have them. Any help is appreciated.
