You are going to need the 1962 Chevrolet Shop Manual, and the 1963 Chevrolet shop manual supplement. I suggest that you look on ebay, and buy the least expensive one available. If you use it, it is going to get dirty, and a new one will look just like the lesser priced ones, in just a few weeks of use. Make sure to only purchase original or reproduction manuals. The Hayes, etc., won't be of much help, since they are generic..

I adjusted my column by the nuts on the threaded rod that holds the column up. Mine was off to the right side, and too high.
