Brodie is correct. There are plastic plugs that go into the larger holes, and then the plastic tabs that are inserted into the rubber will press into the plastic plugs that fit into the door.
I found what I believe is the correct part, in the Hubbard's Impala Parts (800-846-7252). It is called 1959-1962 door weather strip pin retainers part number(5962DWPR) (set) $16.99. I suggest that you call and verify if this is the correct item. I believe that they are also used on some of the other GM cars of that era, so you might want to check other brands also. I am also surprised that they were not included with the rubber gaskets. Where did you purchase the gaskets, and who is the manufacturer?
