Hey to all, hope the weather is good for you. Been terrible here in Illinois. Bad for cruising. Anyhow I want to open a can of worms, so I am going to start with side motor mounts so I can use a manual fuel pump, then power steering and a new steering column. I have old double hump fuelie heads, so no accessories holes. Soo, new heads? See how wiggly it gets as project unfolds? If anyone has done the same and can enlighten me on this, it may help. As it stands the car is all intact and driven. So I start with the mounts which now is a Hurst saddle kit. I have an HEI ignition and no firewall clearance problems, so is the engine 3/4 inch forward with the Hurst kit or in stock position, anyone know? I notice mount kits with each position noted based on the HEI. Lets start here. Do I get the mount for the 3/4 inch forward or stock?
