True, but many of the aftermarket t'stats come with the wiring mods enclosed to handle the fans. True, they're not carbureted any longer, but they still like temps a bit cooler than the "general" designed into them to meet emissions. Nearly ever LS motored racer will agree with me here....It works and it's inexpensively done.
