Almost certainly you will have to shorten the drive shaft but depending on what you had in there originally you may also have to have a custom shaft built. In my opinion if you are going to the expence of swapping a 700r4 a custom shaft is not that big of a leap.

Besides all that you will have to modify and/or move the crossmember and find the correct mount for it. Then the Throttle Valve cable installation is very important. Post again with information like: what original trans you have, engine, etc.
