I have had the same Cragar wheels on my 57 for 44 years now,The fronts are 15x4 and the backs are 15x7.They don’t make the same wheels any more, they are slightly different,I have a front wheel that’s bad,and even if I wanted to buy the new style the 15x4.5 they are all out of stock,so I was thinking of going with the 15 x6 on the front, anyone have any problems with that size of a wheel on the front.I will be buying all four wheels so they match.

Those and a new set of tires and you should be happy. 6 on the front is a good choice. 6 or 7 for the rear. But a matched set make sense.

do you have front disc brakes?
what type of set up are the disc brakes?
what spindles, brackets?
if stock hubs on front 6" wheels will work just make a measurement for desired offset.

I did change the front to disc brakes a few years ago.I don’t remember off hand the name of the kit I used, but they are bolted to the stock spindles.I’ll have to get my records out .

I have Cragar S/S Super Sport 15”x7” with P225/70R15s all the way around on my 57 with (almost) no problem. The only time the fronts rub is when turning hard and hitting a rise at the same time, like going down my driveway and turning onto the street.

I put 15x6 on all four corners of my 1953 Sport Coupe with 4-wheel disc brakes. They worked out great. I could have gone with 15x7 on the rear but I decided it might be nice to actually rotate the tires...

If they fit my '53 they should work fine on your '57.
