Purchased an exhaust system from Carks (very nice/single). The round tailpipe extends long. To more closely resemble the original should it be cut off at an angle and approx. how far from the body??? |

The single exhaust cars tail pipe should come out the right side and be cut off just a little passed the lower edge of the body by maybe an inch or so. I would cut it off at an angle or maybe add a chrome tip like a lot of other Corvair owners do. Clarks sells a nice one that curves down that looks pretty cool...but it's all a matter of personal taste.
