I am searching for a 2nd/3rd gear speed clutch (synchronizer) for a Muncie 319. This overdrive trans is in a 1957 210, 2dr sedan. Any help appreciated.

I'm sure you've already looked at E-Bay; there's always a few new and used there, but the new ones are usually for the 64-65 Muncie 318/319's. There is "someone" who offers just the "rings", but you have to stake them in yourself, and that requires a tool; some guys make the tool. The 55-63 synchronizer/slider assemblies are really hard to find new, and good used ones don't last long. I have a Muncie 319 also, and it's very clean inside and out, but who knows what shape the synchros are in. DriveTrainDirect.Com and GarageMotorsports.Com are two businesses I' ve had experience with; no complaints with either one. Good luck. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
