Anyone know if the original wiring harness has the wiring for elec. windows in models with hand cranks? Got the motors and harness for the door side but not sure if the dash side is in there somewhere.1990 sierra k1500

Might be there. Check behind the side panels just ahead of the door frames. It would be a couple of plugs with continuous wiring between the doors. The operating power for the passenger door comes from the driver door switch.

There won't be any wiring for them present in a crank window truck. Furthermore, there may not even be holes in the cab for the harness to pass through! I ran into this when building my '94 3500HD.

Check the doors - an older model crank window truck will likely have plastic plugs covering the harness holes, the accordion boot won't be there between the door and cab, and the cab may not have the holes at all. It's not hard to cut them with a hole saw, with a little care given to locate them properly using another cab to make a template. Get the boots from that cab while you're at it...as well as the harness to go from the electrical convenience center to the doors.

Thank you good sir. Thought about building a little harness that would connect in all the right places under the dash as with this project I am putting the switches in the console rather than in the door panels. Not sure what wires go to what posts on the door side harnesses. Tried to read the schematic but.....eyes crossed

You could do that custom. It is not that difficult.
The wires will not be there as Richard stated.
Same with the holes.
If you had power locks then you would be luckier as there would at least be wiring already running to the doors.
Any issues you run into just ask here. I have done so many electrical jobs We should be able to walk you through it
