65 truck won't start after running for a while again any tips

Can you give more info. What kind of ignition are you running? If it is electronic it could be the module. When they get hot they stop working but will again when cooled off. How old is the fuel filter? could have crap stuck in it and it is being starved for fuel. Easy way to check is to take it off and try blowing through it without tasting gas (yuk). If there is resistance I would start with that.

Hei.on 350 eng. 5.7 4bar.Holley also checking for heat soaked wiring around headers could I upgrade to a better quality module.increased my batt.c.c to 1000 as well thanks for info!

It might just be the module. Mine was bad and my truck would just shut off like I turned the key off and I had a brand new dist. Modules are pretty inexpensive so it might be worth replacing

modules either work or they don't. if your truck does start when cold then the module is working

Changing batt. To 1000 c/c ran it today for and hr. Came back home shut her down started again after a few clicks. Love these old truck. Thanks friend..
