Is there another forum that would have more information on the Cosworth fuel pumps or someone that I could call that could point me in the right direction? There has to be someone that has information to share on this.BG

Cosworth Vegas were a very small niche market, vehicle. Have tried to just google Cosworth Vega and see what pops up?

PM me your phone number and I will put you in contact with someone who can probably help. I know he got one for his 75 a year or so ago.

OK BG, Here is the info. There are replacements that will work, but this guy is listed in the Cosworth Club info and my friend has used him. Hi-Pressure Fuel pump rebuild: Fuel Injection Corp.

Thanks for posting that info Donny.

The high pressure, or secondary, fuel pump has gotten rather rare these days as a new or NOS unit.

Rebuilding is a viable solution at about half the cost of new - if you can find one.

Also, a VERY GOOD IDEA to add a second fuel filter to the vehicle. Install it between the fuel tank and the intake of the secondary fuel pump. Something the factory should have done - and it will be easier to replace rather than the ultra rare original under the hood.

Donny,
I called that phone number and was able to talk to Bob and he said that Don Burnhart had sold the company but it sounded like he still works for them at another location. He gave me a price of 296.00 to rebuild the fuel pump but they require the old one as a core. Thanks alot for the help, BG
