Do a search for window fussies. Its all hand work. Some of us use screws to attach the fuzzies and some use staples.

I think danchuk has a tech section for the vent window rubbers.

You do it different if you have a ht vs a sedan.

One of the Danchuk newsletters last summer had a very extensive article with instructions on how to do window fuzzies. If you drop them an email I'm sure they will be happy to email you a PDF of the newsletter... I wanna say it was published in maybe April or May of 2003...

A m I correct, there are no fuzzies on the doors of a '55 hdtp?It seems there is a pretty good sized gap between the glass and the interior trim and the stainless, but if that's the way it's supposed to be,so be it.

The 57's don't have it on the 2dr ht. I don't know about the 55's but its probably the same.

I tried doing mine a couple of years ago and gave up.
I couldn't find any good instructions.
The more instructions I read the more questions I had.
The rubber has to go in a certain direction.
When the rubber was installed in the vent window it was almost impossible to get it closed.
I turned it over to the professionals.
Good luck.

Fur Channel Instructions

The above is a link to the Danchuck article on Fur Channel Installation. I will be tackling the little buggers myself shortly.

Actually, 57 2 door hardtops(and conv.) do have a felt strip on the inner door garnish molding. The 57 door garnish has an added strip of metal on the vertical side of it for the felt that 55/56's don't have. So 57's have felt on the inside door garnish molding and no felt on the outer stainless. 55/56's don't have felt on either side of the door glass. They use a rubber roller guide on both sides of the glass though. A 57 has a roller guide only on the outside of the glass.

SS427, I stand corrected on the 57 fuzzies. My memory is not getting any better. I just did that job 2 years ago.
