Here's my truck http://soul.f2o.org/?mytruck=s0ulslack

I also own soul.f2o.org, and wrote a section on the site called "MyTruck". It allows you to signup online for free, and enter your truck details/pictures to share with others. http://soul.f2o.org/mytruck/about.php has all the details, and if you want an example of what it is checkout the link in my sig. If you have any questions feel free to pm my here at ChevyTalk!

Mine is in my signature below. There is very little there, but there is a pic of my truck with gchemist's.

Gerardo: We need to try it again. I replaced the HD front springs with regular ones, and installed drop spindles. Mine shold not be much taller than yours now.

Sure why not. We should be able to get plenty of trucks together again. I still would like to meet at a local track for a weekend of racing or just watching. If we can meet in Temple we can race all we want. If we meet up again for a gathering we can look at SA or Austin. We can invite board members from all over the area. There is a local gathering of hotrods in Oak Hill on Saturdays. We can show up in force and take some space up.

I'd been meaning to start a web page for my recent aquisition, so this thread made me go ahead and do it.

http://www.tennesspeed.net/members/tungsten/1985k5/

The links don't work yet as I've only got the front page finished, but I will get the rest of it set up over the weekend. It's supposed to rain, so I'll have nothing better to do.

Hey Dale, that is a nice truck!!!!

Did you try finding headers for a 455? I also have a 455 that I have been thinking about putting into my '80 4x4, but the problem is I have a 4 speed standard, and unless I converted to a th400/205 case, I am not sure that I could make it work. Thanks again!

Thanks, LT1Power I have looked around and have not seen any headers that will fit for sure. I was thinking about using some designed for a 68-72 Olds Cutlass but at this time I am not going to buy a set just to find out they will not work. I have only seen one other set of 455 headers installed in a 1/2 ton that were custom made. They looked kind of like log style manifolds like the newer cars use.
Far as swapping a 455 into your 4x4 you might be able to find a BOP bell housing to bolt to your standard transmission. My roommate has one that I could take a pictures and measurements of. I believe Lakewood also makes a multi-pattern bell housing that might work.

Everyone that has a web can be added to the links page under board members. I have mine listed there. All you have to do is request to be added. I think mamaredneck administers that page.
