I'm rebuilding the entire a/c system on my 85 silv K30 454 engine. Does it use the a-6 long or the r-4 radial compressor? I cannot find info other than it could come either way? I have all the compressor brackets for the A-6 and I see that a new style aluminum version is out, is it any good? the older style I had nothing but troubles with. I have R12 and 134a..
thanks for your time

Can you fit a Sanden SD7HD? It’s a bolt on with brackets. I replaced an R4 with an SD7HD. R134 uses a cross flow condenser. R12 uses tubes that wrap around. Match the components.
