Hi,

I recently have take out a switch from a 68 impala. I don't know what the switch for. It goes under the instruments panel, near the column on the door side. Maybe someone know it.

If it's a factory switch, it would be for a rear window de-fogger on the rear shelf. It would have a purple wire on it. Cant see any photos.

Yes is a factory switch, but no wires on the car. The car was totally stripped

Yes, that is an original rear defog switch.

I got the rear defroster assy from a donor, so soon i'll got it working.

it appears to be a 67 one year only (I believe) switch for the defroster, no reason it won't work though
