Does the under bumper black plastic difuser/spoiler thing serve much purpose in cooling? I ask because I tore mine off this spring in the woods hunting for fire wood. We are getting into warm season here now and thinking if need be I might have to pick a new one up or fix mine. Soon the temps here will be well into triple digets.

TIA

It does nothing for cooling, just makes the front kinda ugly
I have been running a big offroad bumper for 10+ years,35s and towed 7k lbs to princeton and Merritt in the middle of summer and never went over 190f

And if you need a new one pick a part in chilliwack has a dozen of these trucks at anytime

Thanks guys. I think the front looks kinda funny without it but I'm getting used to it now so I'll just go without.

It is the first thing I take off any vehicle I get. I would rather take it off than let it get ripped off.

My truck didn't come with one, and I bought one and installed it. I saw a very slight improvement in mileage on the highway. I was driving 100 a day at that time. Later, I removed it... I think when I went to larger tires.

It's a air dam. Main purpose is aerodynamics.
