When I went to the Goodguys car show they had a vendor that sold some cut off wheels for small grinders that were guaranteed not to break or wear out. They cost $150.00. Here's the name "Millner-Haufen 4 ½" electroplated diamond angle grinding wheel". My question is has anybody on ChevyTalk used these? If so are they worth the money. I go thru a lot of cut off wheel. https://millnertools.com/products/angle-grindi ng-w...

Huh...

I'd say if it did break, the warranty would probably be the last thing to worry about. I'd worry about where the pieces would go and what they'd do on their way getting there!

Interested in what others have to say about them as well; definitely some value in a cutoff wheel that lasts a nice long time.

I haven't used one yet.I would like to try one!
A couple of people I know have used them and told me the best thing about it is it cuts good and stays the same diameter.
And,it does get dull(I guess the diamond dust wears off)after a while. Not sure how long "a while" is.

Looks like something that I would lose in the shop and be $150.00 out. Just like a 10mm socket.

Where do those lost 10’s go anyway? Lost a couple of mine, too.

I understand that over at Harbor Freight, they have bins full of nothing but 10mm sockets, for you guys that lose them a lot.

Mine live on a rack in the toolbox when I'm not using them, and they're not HF brand.

Even with the socket sticks in my box they run away. Kinda like rogue socks.

I don't work on anything that I'd need a 10 mil socket. :P

I've got 2 Hondas, a Toyota, a Nissan (BTW, those are the ones that run)...I also have about 52 10mm sockets and sometimes I can't find one of em.

You don't have any newer GM products?

The first guy that invents a miniature GPS locator for 10 mm sockets is going to get rich.

I do. I have an 01 Silverado 1/2 ton but unless it's an oil change or something really simple I take it to my mechanic buddy. In my old age I'm finding it difficult and to much of a pain in the butt to work on anything. If my Belair ain't broke I just leave it alone and drive it.
