I am using a 1991/1992 hydraulic master clutch cylinder and a McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing in my 55 BelAir

Ready to bleed the system. My question has to do with the "rubber cup....diaphragm???" located in the reservoir and the lack of a Max fill line.

I assume the cup should be left in.....or does it? Either way where is the max fluid level?

You tube etc didn't answer my question and no where did I see the 'rubber cup" being used

Thanks in advance for your help.
