I missed Ground Hog Day and Armadillo Day too. How long is winter? Waiting on warm weather to work on my truck. Had to boost it the other day. Drove it around for a whole day to charge it up. Since it will likely rain all week. I'll have run an extension cord and put a trickle charger on it.

Come on Spring!

Very very tired of the cold weather. So ready to be able to be outside and tinker on truck or whatever.

Yup, first on my list is either new front shocks or new header exhaust gasket on right side. Later, after it's really warm, adjust the rocker arm poly locks one more time.

Welcome to "global warming". ^This planet has been "warming" since the ice age; I'm not sure these scientists really understand what they're claiming in regards to global warming. Most of them are in dire need of major surgery, an encephalrectalectomy. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Those scientist need to study elliptical orbits!! The orbit is not round. And the earth is not flat.

I have heard it called cranialrectomitis. Or cranial rectitis. In other words, head up their b__t.

Winter? We only have two seasons here, spring and summer... It's always boating, jet ski, fishing, motorcycle and beach weather down here in the most southern suburb of New York... Southeast Florida :-)

I'm not a "flat Earth" type but I read, quite a bit, and if the ice caps WERE melting and the sea were really rising at the rate we are told...

If I ever see the October / November extreme high tide rise touch the stringers higher on my old dock higher than they have been for the last 30 years, I'll have personally seen global warming at work. Not so far! Perhaps the Bermuda triangle is somehow masking the sea rise, or maybe the seas are rising everywhere else?

Time will tell.

Started up the truck after 3 weeks of rain. I let it run to full operating temp. The LS electric fans started up at 205 F and turned off at 190 F. Since the compressor cycles even with the A/C-heat off, the fans would turn on to reduce R134 pressures. It's ready for traffic driving and weekend cruising. Now it needs a good clean and engine bay wash.

Climate destruction changed the gulf streams. There use to be a strong gulf stream circling the artic ocean, which has weakened due to the warming.(locks the cold artic air in the artic region). Thus allowing one of the other northerly flowing gulf streams to push into the artic circle, which cause the artic gulf to deform pushing the cold down to us.

This is why we are having a colder longer winter. your mixing weather with climate. Weather becomes more extreme with a warmer world where ocean temps vary with wider range than land thus leading to bad weather when warm meets cold.

I think in my case my van may like the cold better in terms of running with fewer problems...
