I have a torque converter for a turbo 400 it has number 081707 on it

If it is a 12" convertor it is close to stock stall speed for its intended application. Really don't have enough info to identify this.

Well, some aftermarket companies sell stock size convertors that have maybe 400 rpms more stall speed, but stall speed can vary depending on engine torque, brake holding power. What are your concerns?
