Who makes the weatherstrip that they are selling ?
The good company's making windshield gaskets are Steele Products, Soft Seal and Metro. There may be others.

I would do what pvs409 said an get a steele or soft seal gasket.I have done a few front and back installs and have had had to fight leakage problems with other brands.I never had much trouble with the install but those leaks are hard to deal with.

I agree with 4 speedman, I have 2 to 4 cars built some sold with Soft Seal windshield gaskets(installed by old time glass installer).
Recently switched to Steele Products as required by my newer glass installer trained by a old time glass installer. He insists on Steele gaskets to me -for fit and performance he tells me. Steele gaskets are higher cost for windshield and back glass.

No not 1 problem or leak ,I installed them both myself. Use the string trick ,put the gasket on the WS and then run a string around the gap where it sit's in frame flange, worked like butter. Use the rope sealer got mine at NAPA it was 3m brand. theres some videos around this is the one I used

The car shops front gaskets are fargo, that a new name to me. Back glass gasket is precision.
