I have a '78 Chevy van with a 350 and dash gauges. The gauge is there but the sending unit or switch (what is the correct term?) on the engine was replaced by an aftermarket gauge. Anybody know the correct part #? I hope to make a "T" and have them both.

Thanks,
Larry

Is the aftermarket gauge using a stock sending sensor? Some do, other don't. If the signal is electrical, it may not be enough power two gauges. It's basically a ground.
