Just want a final word before I sink the pistons.I file fit the rings as follows-Top rings at .020",2 went to .022".2nd.rings at .018",1 went to .020".These are the rings I have:
http://www.libertyperformance.com/pdf/FILE_FOR_RIN...
Ofcourse, the gap specs. for these rings go against all other gap recomendations I've been reading, where they state same for the top ring (.0045" X bore),but state .0055" (wider) for the 2nd.ring.

Naturally aspirated, no nitrous? If so your clearances sound ok, of course ring spacing is important.

The clearances in your link are a bit big for a stock piston or an aftermarket forged piston. But not much. For those .004"/inch of bore is the general rule of thumb.
But, and this is a huge but, if you have hypereutectic cast pistons you may need more gap, and you should follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
So all this depends on your pistons, not your rings.
