my 350 chevy motor is over heating change heads and gasket still pushing water out radiator looked at heads they look good no cracks did not see any in cylinder walls either any ideas thank you dave

When you say it's over heating how did you check it?
Do you have a over flow on it?

That's normal if the radiator was over full. On a factory radiator the water level is about 2-4"'s below the cap. There should be a mark on the radiator telling you where the water line is.

I cant hold my hand over the radiator fill to much pressure pushing my hand off is there something im missing by putting new heads and gaskets on I even changed the thermo stat

Did you get all the air out of the system? I would jack the front of the truck up and make sure it's not got any air trapped in it.

if you start it and its overheating that fast im thinkin you have a compression leak into the cooling system. you need to pressure test the cooling system to see if there is a leak into one of the cylinders.

70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.
