Since I'll be busy for a while finishing my grandson's 1939 Dodge 2-door sedan street rod, I decided I wanted to be able to drive my '52 Styleline deluxe instead of waiting for finishing the Dodge and then working on my '52 Styleline project car. So, I bought this one in Tyler, Texas.

Besides having air, it also has power steering and brakes. The car sports the tried and true GM 350 V-8 with a TH350 automatic transmission. The engine looks tired but sounds very much alive. Eventually, I plan to drop in a Ram Jet 350. find those Ram Jets extremely appealing and powerful.

Wow, that looks fantastic. Although, you seem to have lost the fender skirts during transport.

I fully agree. The pictures in the ebay advertisement looked so good to my bride and me that my bride immediately said, "Go for it."

Turns out the pictures did the car justice. The seller is a young man who purchased an old Pontiac dealership. He is both honest and forthright. Which is a blessing nowadays.

A rare blessing indeed.
Can you post pics of the engine bay? That car is really sweet. Congrats to you for finding and purchasing it.

I have them. The transporter stored the fender skirts in the car's trunk for safekeeping. He didn't want them stolen while he stayed overnight at a motel.

After looking at the pictures a few times, I have only found one thing about that car that I don't like. I don't like that it is in your driveway instead of mine.

George, That 52 is a really beauty. I really like the blue color and the interior is great. You should join our caravan to the convention in Flagstaff in July. I know that it has that V thing in it, but you also have a Inline. Karen also like your 52 also. Luke

Thanks go to you, Luke, and your bride, Karen. The engine bay is the "bad" regarding this car. I'd show a picture of it but apparently I can't do it now unless somebody on this forum can tell me how.

That's interesting, Keith. I, too, am a Gold Supporter of this forum. As I write this, I can see nothing on this entire page, above or below, that states: "Upload Pictures."

It's in the reply section , down at bottom. It gives you a header upload photos /files, click there find your photo in your files then select it, and when it's loaded click finished. You won't see it in your reply until you preview your response. If your happy with it then send

Thanks for your explanation Bill. I probably would have messed up the explanation if I tried to explain it. I am saving your reply to my files.

Okay, here it is. As can be seen the car's engine bay needs a lot of help.
