Hi all.
Have a 2012 express 1500 in my fleet and I love it.
It goes around 400 miles a day and runs like a top.
It just hit 151k miles and sunday it threw the check engine light. first time I have seen it.
It had 4 codes relating to the torque convertor.
P0741. Converter performance, not functioning, etc...
second was TCM requestion illumination of SES
other 2 of the codes were pending of the same.
I was bummed. I decided to clear the codes and have been driving it locally without problem or codes.
Knowing that code usually means death of the torque converter in many vehicles am I to assume the same here? It never showed any signs of slippage.
Is there anything I can look for before I decide to replace the trans.
thanks all.
