Another mystery from the ol k2500. A couple days ago, I went to start the truck up and she just spit a couple times. Wouldn't fire up. Turned it over, it fired, then died. I pulled the air filter off and sprayed a crapton of brake cleaner in the intake tube, and it fired right up and ran perfect. Hasn't given me this issue again since, been perfectly fine until last night. I was driving down the street, nothing crazy, and I noticed an extra light on my dash. The security light was on. Truck was running fine, but that light got me curious and thinking about that fail to start the other day. This is a 99 K2500 with nothing as far as options. It has manual locks, manual windows, no alarm, it doesn't even have airbags. The only electric security it has is the ignition switch. Am I being paranoid on a fluke light, or should I be concerned about this before the truck tries to leave me stuck?
