I have a 1983 that I'm installing a 350TBI from a 1992 chevy. What do I need to change with regard to the wiring harnesses outer & inner and the computer or fuse box. Is there a year/model donor truck I can obtain a plug and play harness. Additionally, I am converting to the 89-91 grill as well. Please help...

Wow! That's an upgrade. An 87 truck is the only model with a compatible harness. The TBI is partially stand alone. An aftermarket TBI harness may be easier to install. You'll need both fuel pumps from an 87. The fuel pumps are in the tanks. You can convert to a single pull pump. You'll need to install an O2 bung too.
Read this TBI conversion: http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain /TBI_con...

The 91 swap will take some work too. I did it to mine. The entire radiator support has to be replaced. Are parts coming off a donor vehicle? I bought mine then did the conversion. You can do the conversion by only removing/loosing only one fender. However, I if you pull both fenders off, it's easier to replace door pins. I high recommend you do the door pins. Nothing is in the way and you can to it with the doors closed.

You can also use up to 1991 K5 blazer and suburban harness also. I did a few of those swaps back in the day (replacing sick 6.2 diesels)
