I have electric windows in my 01. The drivers side won't go down, unless I help it. When I don't help, I can hear the motor is running and I hear something inside.
When I push button to go back up, I hear a bunch of crunching and then I can see the window get snug in the window channel again.


Just DUNE it

Sounds like you need a new power window regulator, but the motor could also be an issue. The regulator has cables and pulleys that raise and lower the window. If one or more of the pulleys or cables is broken or worn out, it can cause the window to not go up and down properly. Sometimes, the regulator can fail and also cause damage to the motor gear, in which case both would need replacement.

I would say either the regulator, common
Or the window itself. It may have broken off the regulator. You will have to pop off the panel to have a look. Should be obvious

A new regulator and motor is under $50 and takes about 30 minutes to change if you take your time. That will fix your problem.
