Greetings,
I recently ordered a new dash bezel and figured I might as well replace the bulbs lighting the guages etc.
Can anyone provide a link with the correct bulbs to replace the ones existing in the dash already.
I have searched and as Im finding out there are a million opinions.
Id rather not do LED and keep the replacements as close to original as possible
1983 Chevy Scottsdale C10 is what Im working on.
Thanks

You can brighten up stock bulbs. Read the article on painting the back plate. http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/garage_int erior.ht...

If I remember correctly, I use 168 bulbs.

Yeah I saw that. I more interested in just replacing the bulbs as Im redoing the dash and just want basic bulbs.
What kind can I use? Ive read Sylvania 168 but others say 194? Can anybody offer a direct answer?

168 4.9 Watts
194 3.8 Watts
Either one will work. 168 would be slightly brighter than 194.

If they all work, use 194.
