How long after applying new paint can it be wet sanded and buffed? I did some rust repair work on my 46 Fleetmaster and I need to work on the paint. Oh, it is Black Acrylic Enamel
thanks

You can always check what the manufacture recommends for their paints...should be a "P" [product] sheet out there somewhere on line. What brand?

But speaking generally, I would wait a week. Then start in an area that is not obvious. If the paint is balling up on the paper, you need to wait longer. Good to put a little soap in the water as well and sand with a block or pad.
