ok dumb ? I have a 63 step side. Are all parts the same and made in China. I know weather seals and gaskets can be found American made. Mirrors, door handles, and so on are they all made over seas? There are lots of companys that sell this stuff. Whats the best place to order your parts from? Classic Chevy has a big selection.

I got disc rotors from Classic Performance Parts. They went on without a problem.

I always seek out American made parts, but, like you, and many others, we are frequently required to settle for parts manufactured in other countries.

"Classicparts" specializes in Chevy and GMC but their parts may not be the best and i'm not sure where they're made, but there is an abundance of parts for Chevy on that site.

But American made is always better in the end in my opinion.

Thanks for all the help. Is there a glass kit for our trucks? I know when you buy kits there a little cheaper.

Hi Guys, sorry to pop your bubble on this but GM makes less of their vehicles in the US than Toyota so in recent times they are more Offshore made than USA. They do the exact same thing with their P&A lines as well.
It's Not Just China, it could be Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, India, Vietnam, etc

Cheers Kiwi
