Hey guys,
I have a 2001 Silverado AC & Heater control switch problem. The knob to switch the air to the upper vents/floor/defrost does not work.
I first tried changing the actuator, no luck. Than I changed the Climate Control Module ( DormanĀ® 599-266 - Remanufactured ). Still no luck. Sometimes it changes and sometimes it doesn't . Don't know what else it could be. Anyone have any tips on this issue. Thanks

I don't have a solution, Larry. The fully "automatic" climate control has a procedure for reprogramming and can need it again from time to time...but, I'm assuming that yours is basically manual(?). If there are any sensors related to "automatic" climate control involved, it may be worthwhile to pursue finding the method for a reset. ...sorry I can be of more help. Mc
