2000 Blazer. the sunvisor mirror hinges broke a few years back. my wife made some Velcro straps to hold everything in place. which works. except from time to time the lite button will come on. which drains the battery. I put duct tape over the button. but the very hot AZ sun caused to tape to loose its grip. last week the battery went down. yesterday, I redid the tape, using real metal duct tape. I threatened to just cut the hot wire, but chickened out.
anyone else had this problem and if so what is the fix?
Thanks Rod in AZ
