So considering adding a minimal "simple" system to get a bit of chilling to my '54. This is a modified (restomod truck with Chevy 350/TH400 tranny). I use the term "simple" meaning not a full blown Vintage Air system given the complexity, cost, etc. So my question is has anyone bought and installed for example a Drake (or any other) underdash system? I looked at Summit's products and seems like a few of the kits include almost everything for the $5-600 mark. Some of course have heat function and some do not. My stock heater works great but that's secondary. Really asking more about a/c and yes I am sure these are not great but again, not looking for a Vintage Air.
