Putting a 350 cu in motor with 700r trans in my 1939 2 door. I Am going without the computer stuff.
All I have read about modifying the 700r is so confusing. I installed the lock up or maybe lock down kit. It has solenoid and 2 prong pressure switch inside. Will some trans expert explain in simple terms what else I need. Some have said I need a brake switch and a low pressure switch. Others said I need nothing. Please help.

If you mean the torque convertor lock up control, there are several types available. Monster transmissions in Fla. has a fairly simple kit that can installed, give them a call.
