65 and 66 convertible frames are interchangeable. 67 frames use different rear control arms due to a change in the rear cabin dimensions.

The frame in my 65 SS coupe broke near the driver side crossmember mount. It was repaired by welding a piece of large angle iron material trimmed to fit inside the frame, then welding a "cover" over the removed frame material created to get the angle inside the frame. Then the whole inside of the frame was coated (flooded) with single stage urethane semi-gloss paint.

You haven't given the severity of your frame's damage so it's harder to give you a recommendation on what to do.

One thing to consider is that your VIN number is stamped on the frame if that makes a difference to you.

There are minor differences in '65-'66 frames. The rear cross member behind bumper has different bolt spacing so holes will need to be modified. Front swaybar mounts are different too. A '67 frame will fit and has better steering. Some mods required though. I have used '67 frames under '65-'66 cars before and am currently doing a '66 wagon frame swap with a '67 frame.
