I have a 1965 GMC 930 (Basically a Canadian version of Chevy C-30)and I'm thinking of installing a Route 9 kit. This truck is not going to be fancy at all. I installed a 500560 in my 65 C-10, and am quite happy with it. I think that would be overkill for this truck. Would this be a suitable kit for the 930? Only upgrade would be HEI, and possibly an aftermarket GM style steering column. Anyone else installed this kit in a similar application?

Thanks,
Sam

Sorry this took so long to get back to you Sam. There is nothing on the lines of a Classic Update kit that will have all the neat OE items like switches and switch connectors like your 500560 had. Just keep that is mind. With that said, the Rt. 9 is a great product for a very basic ride. You will probably have to fabricate a bracket to mount that panel in your Scooby Doo mobile though.
