On E-Bay item # 142504221438; a 1968 Biscayne 4 door sedan with 9000 original miles. Was a six cylinder/3-speed, now a 283/TH350. I'd left it stock had it been me, but it's not my car. Even has clear plastic seat covers. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

I agree about leaving it original. They took a rare original car and just made another hodge-podge old car. It's a 283 dressed to look like a 327. Well why didn't they just put a 327 in it? Sometimes I wonder about people...

Voted most likely to end up working at a car wash.

I agree, should have left it stock. 283 dressed to look like a 327? Lame. Be proud of what you have. The exhaust guy should be fired.

Looks like it sold for 15K....the second time through.

I think it would be more interesting ...and possibly worth MORE unmolested.....The low mileage really doesn't mean much without the original powerplant, etc.

My Grandpa had 68 Biscayne like that. His was a 307 3 speed on column. Already had his extra wheels and snow tires mounted in this pic.
